About Chiropractic AdvantageA Holistic Health Care Paradigm

The philosophy of holistic health care is defined as “comprehension of the parts of something as intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole.” Put simply; we must take all of the systems within the body into consideration when attempting to identify the underlying cause of an individual’s symptoms. To approach each individual’s health care needs, we utilize a comprehensive intake form, personal history, and physical examination with every new patient we see in our clinic. When necessary we also order laboratory testing and radiographic imaging such as x-rays or MRI to obtain as much information as needed to get to the right diagnosis.

Once we have arrived at a thorough understanding of the physical dysfunction underlying the symptoms each patient presents with, we design a treatment protocol that we feel will give the best results in the shortest period, at the lowest possible expense.

It is now a well-established fact that chronic inflammation is the underlying cause of most discomfort and disease that plagues most people living in modern society.  Indeed, arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, fasciitis, heart disease, dementia, diabetes, obesity, and cancer all occur most often as a result of chronic systemic inflammation.

This chronic inflammation may be the consequence of poor diet, genetic predisposition, chronic stress, chronic infection, allergies, altered gut bacterial flora, heavy metal toxicity, etc.  It is for this reason that we often utilize laboratory testing in the pursuit of an accurate understanding of each individual’s health concern.

Once we have established an understanding of each person’s health status, we will recommend any of our therapeutic interventions in order to bring about an expedient recovery.  These therapies include deep tissue massage, photobiomodulation, cryotherapy, chiropractic manipulation, clinical nutritional protocols, dietary change, or rehabilitative exercises.

Each person is treated as a unique case.  We do not employ “cookie-cutter” treatment plans in our clinic.  We make the best recommendation for treatment based upon our findings, and make the appropriate referral for other treatment when necessary.
