Health Information

Chiropractic Examination

The aim of the chiropractic examination is to assess your structural and functional condition. Emphasis will be placed on the spinal column, shoulders, pelvis, and hips, for reasons explained in detail at your pre-consultation meeting. Included in this exam are specific chiropractic, orthopedic, and neurological tests. Once all of this information is gathered we can make honest and accurate recommendations for care.

Your regular adjustment visits are very important. To keep you on track and achieve your health goals it is vitally important you follow the recommendations given to you at each visit. Each adjustment builds on the one prior, creating a healing momentum. As your adjustments hold and your health improves your visit frequency is reduced. Throughout your course of treatment there will be periodical reviews conducted and further recommendations will be made that pertain to the maintenance of your results. The doctors at Chiropractic Advantage do not recommend the same “cookie cutter” treatment plans to all patients nor do they subscribe to the notion that every person needs a particular number of visits to attain their goals. Each patient is treated as an individual with unique circumstances and needs and treatment plans will be customized to suit those needs.

Nutrition Consultations

Many patients require treatment from the inside out. If there are systemic issues with inflammation, gastrointestinal dysfunction, arthritis, fibromyalgia, diabetes, etc then lab tests will be ordered and specific nutritional protocols will be designed to facilitate the restoration of health. If you are not a current patient and are seeking a nutritional consultation only, then an appointment will be made at a specific time to accommodate that request, and you will not be required to undergo a chiropractic examination.

Community Education

The doctors at Chiropractic Advantage place the highest priority on education and this extends to the education of their patients and their community. All of our doctors volunteer their time to present educational lectures to schools (from kindergarten through college), churches, industries, hospitals, civic groups, and support groups for people suffering with arthritis, fibromyalgia, heart disease, diabetes etc. The presentations always focus on evidence based, non-drug approaches to health problems that plague a large percentage of people in the community.

If you would like to attend one of their future scheduled events or request a specific seminar at your workplace or any other location, please contact our office.
